Ivan Baker, CEcD, AICP, FM will join the Crowe LLP credits and incentives consulting team in Chicago as manager, effective Monday, July 15.

The national team, under the direction of Jon Cesaretti, coordinates credits and incentives, economic development and state and local tax assistance for hundreds of business clients. Crowe LLP is a member of Crowe Global which has 750 offices in 130 countries.
As a certified CEcD Economic Developer and AICP Planner, Baker has coordinated real estate and incentive negotiations for over $2.8 billion in business capital investments in seven states, including industrial projects for Fortune 100 firms. He is also one of only 125 elected IEDC Fellow Members of International Economic Development.
Prior to joining Crowe, Baker most recently served as president of the regional North Central Illinois Economic Development Corporation. Baker was a tenant-rep site consultant, and also directed economic development programs for Tinley Park, Illinois; Shreveport, Louisiana; Hempstead County, Arkansas; Cass County, Texas; Parker, Colorado; San Benito, Texas and Logan County, Kansas. He earned his bachelor degree in communications and economics from Washburn University, and completed advanced economic development programs at the University of Colorado, University of Oklahoma and Rochester Institute of Technology. Baker and his wife reside in Tinley Park.
