JLL vice president Arthur Itkis and associate Aaron Moore are handling the leasing of the redevelopment of the former B. Siegel store department store along Detroit’s Avenue of Fashion district into a mixed-use development.
The project at Livernois and Seven Mile Road, known as 7.Liv, will include multifamily housing for students at University of Detroit Mercy and Marygrove College, retail space and underground parking.
Bagley Forest Properties is the developer and owner of the project. The development got a boost late last year when the Michigan Strategic Fund provided it with a $1.3 million Michigan Communty Revitalization Program grant.
The former B. Siegel store, once the project is done, will connect to a new structure with retail and residential space. Construction is scheduled to start next month, and is expected to be complete in early 2019.
