Joe Olin joins Dayton Street Partners

Chicago-based Dayton Street Partners (DSP) has hired Joe Olin as director, acquisitions. He joins the quickly growing logistics investor/developer and will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and underwriting industrial acquisitions throughout the United States targeting off market, value-add and core plus properties. Joe will be based in Miami.

Joe most recently was vice president of acquisitions at Banyan Street Capital in Miami where he sourced and closed on more than 5.0 million square feet of transactions valued at more than $800 million across the Southeast.

He previously served as a vice president, Capital Markets Group at CBRE in Boston. Specializing in middle market investment sales of office and industrial properties throughout the greater Boston area, he and his team transacted more than 8.5 million square feet in sales valued at $1.34 billion.

Joe is a graduate of the University of Connecticut. He earned an MBA from Bentley University’s McCallum Graduate School of Business.

DSP is one of the most active investor/developers of logistics real estate in the United States. The firm focuses on the acquisition and development of high barrier to entry infill industrial and logistics properties across the country. Current projects include DSP Cedarport Industrial Park, a 164,640-square-foot terminal featuring 215 doors on 50 acres in Baytown, Texas; Rock House Logistics Center, a ­­­­431,000-square-foot cross dock logistics center on 40 acres in Lithia Springs, Georiga; and DSP I-16 Logistics Center, a 548,818-square-foot rear load facility featuring 92 loading docks on 52 acres in Savannah, Georgia.
