Joseph Scharnak joins Levenfeld Pearlstein’s community association group

Levenfeld Pearlstein (LP) announced that Joseph W. Scharnak has joined the firm as a partner in its community association practice group. Scharnak has extensive experience representing condominium and homeowners’ associations, real estate investors and developers and financial institutions in diverse legal matters.

As part of the community associations practice group, Scharnak will work to deliver an unparalleled client experience while providing insight and education to association board members and property managers as they make decisions that impact their neighbors and communities.

“Our practice continues to grow with the addition of outstanding attorneys like Joe,” said Howard S. Dakoff, partner in LP’s community associations practice group. “We are excited to welcome him to our team. His skillset and experience in condominium and homeowners’ associations will provide great value to our clients.”

Scharnak has served as a panelist and presenter for major events and conferences in the industry. He joins LP from Saul Ewing Arnstein & Lehr and earned his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law, followed by an LL.M. in real estate law from The John Marshall Law School.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the LP team,” said Scharnak. “What first drew me to the firm was their focus on exceptional client experience. As my clients are at the center of everything I do, this was incredibly important to me. Meeting my clients’ goals and providing the most strategic value to them is my priority, and at LP, I know we share that same dedication and approach.”
