Kansas City, Missouri-based McCownGordon Construction added Sara Holmes to its team. She will serve as a director of business development focused primarily in the K-12 market.
Holmes brings nearly two decades of business development experience to the firm, most of which was in the construction space. Previously, Holmes served in a business development and educational programming role for one of the industry’s largest HVAC companies.
In her new role, Holmes will work closely with McCownGordon business unit leaders, market leaders and the K-12 team to strengthen and build relationships across the region, demonstrating the value McCownGordon offers its clients by focusing on delivering the best building experience based on their goals.
Holmes is active in the community and a member several school associations across Kansas and Missouri. She also participates on Blue Valley School District’s Finance and Operations Advisory Committee and in the Women’s Employment Network Legacy Circle. She earned her BA in Business Management from the University of Northern Iowa.
