Knutson Construction is now hard at work in Southwestern Wisconsin with the opening of its new office in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Knutson, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is a family-owned business with more than 100 years of experience. The new office at 300 2nd Street North, Suite 310, brings Knutson’s people- first approach and deep exper3se to Western Wisconsin. This expansion reflects Knutson’s regional growth strategy and long-term commitment to serving communities across the Midwest and beyond.
La Crosse is a strategic location for Knutson, with growing demand in sectors where Knutson has deep roots, including healthcare, higher education, and energy. Our team has already been working with major players in the region, notably Mayo Clinic Health System (MCHS), which partnered with Knutson Construction to build the award-winning, six-story, 96-bed addition to the MCHS hospital in La Crosse. The new tower offers the community a new family birthing center, a new surgical floor, state-of-the-art medical technology along with advanced safety and sustainability features.
Knutson Construction is working on a new energy sector service center in Onalaska, breaking ground in June 2025. This project will provide upgraded infrastructure and services for the benefit of local customers.

The Knutson team isn’t just showing up at the job site, it’s showing up for the community. Team members have already participated in the “Steppin’ Out in Pink” breast cancer awareness walk Sept. 13 and are proudly sponsoring the 2025 Oktoberfest Celebration Sept. 25-28. Knutson is also a member of the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce, strengthening ties with its regional partners.
