Landmark Properties closed on the acquisition of a 0.58-acre site in Ann Arbor, Michigan, which is currently home to the Galleria Mall.
The firm plans to develop a 241-unit student housing community at 1208 S. University Ave. with its in-house construction arm, Landmark Construction.
The planned residential development in the South University neighborhood of Ann Arbor is just a few short blocks away from the Ross School of Business, Michigan Diag and a variety of shopping, dining and entertainment options. The community will be Landmark’s third ground-up residential development in Ann Arbor and the seventh project in the market managed by the company.
Fully furnished residences will feature granite countertops, hardwood-style laminate floors, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit laundry, and will come prewired for internet and cable access.
Standing 18 stories tall, The Metropolitan will feature approximately 5,200 square feet of ground-floor retail space, as well as community amenities, including a well-appointed clubhouse, modern fitness center, resort-style pool and rooftop lounge with a variety of seating options.
