Leopardo Companies, Inc. announced that Mark Yanik and Jenny Hansen have joined the company.
Yanik joins Leopardo as vice president of strategic business development. He will be responsible for working across all business units and functions to create and deliver long-term sustainable value, identify new opportunities for growth, and provide leadership and oversight for all business development functions.
Previously, Yanik worked as head of strategic development for Balfour Beatty Power, a division of the $13 billion global contractor, leading the development and execution of the growth strategy of its North American operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from Virginia Tech, and is in the final months of his executive MBA program at the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Yanik is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and Toastmasters International.
Hansen joins Leopardo as strategic accounts manager, tasked with expanding Leopardo’s construction business with a focus on its institutional business unit, which includes healthcare, senior housing and higher education markets.
Hansen brings to Leopardo nearly 12 years of experience in the construction industry and has worked closely with architects, consultants, tenants and subcontractors on large scale construction projects. Previous experience includes seven years of strategic business development with WG Technologies, where she worked with a roster of leading network infrastructure manufacturers. Hansen is an active member of the Chicago chapter of CoreNet Global, the world’s leading association for corporate real estate professionals, service providers and economic developers.
