Liberty Property Trust on Aug. 5 celebrated the ground-breaking of a 171,114-square-foot Class-A industrial building at 10020 S. Reinhart Drive in Liberty Corporate Preserve, a business park in Oak Creek, Wis.
The building, which will be available for occupancy at the end of 2014, is the first large speculative industrial project to be developed in this region in five years and the last pad to be developed at Liberty Corporate Preserve.
“We are experiencing interest from serious tenants regarding sizable amounts of square footage, which is rare in the Milwaukee market without a completed building,” said Neal Driscoll, Liberty’s vice president of development in the region.
The new building offers direct access to Interstate-94. It will feature 200-foot depth, 30-foot clear height, 50×50 column spacing and advanced fire suppression systems. Plans provide the ability to accommodate high-quality office build-out, a shared 200-foot truck court and extensive parking.
The architect for the development project is Stephen Perry Smith Architects, Inc. The engineer is R.A. Smith National, Inc., and the general contractor is Berghammer Construction Corporation. The leasing team is Steve Sewart and Pat Hake of Colliers International.
