Qualanex, LLC — which manages the return goods process for manufacturers and retailers — is doubling the size of its local warehouse/distribution footprint with a new lease for 29,922 square feet at Liberty Point Corporate Center in Libertyville.
The company agreed to lease space in the building after a competitive search for expansion space to complement their existing 49,000 square-foot facility in nearby Gurnee.
The new lease at Liberty Point Corporate Center leaves just 40,450 square feet of vacant space available in the 142,290-square-foot building which is owned by The Silverman Group. This remaining 40,450 SF unit is ready for immediate occupancy with lighting and bathrooms in place.
Located at 1400 Harris Road in the northern suburb, the six-year-old building features 26-foot-clear ceilings, abundant dock positions, and easy access to Interstate 94 just 5 ½ miles to the east.
JLL Senior Vice President Steve Trapp and Vice Presidents Robin Stolberg and Kurt Sarbaugh represented The Silverman Group in the transaction while Ned Frank of Colliers International represented Qualanex. “We are very pleased to have Qualanex as our newest addition to our great tenant roster at Liberty Point
Corporate Center,” said Toby Nelson, Vice President of Leasing for The Silverman Group. “We have positioned our vacant units so that they are ready to go in order to meet the needs of tenants who have immediate occupancy requirements.”
