Manhard Consulting hires Richard Winters as chief financial officer

Manhard Consulting, a civil engineering and surveying firm, has hired Richard Winters as chief financial officer. He will be based in the Vernon Hills, Illinois office.

Winters will lead Manhard Consulting’s financial operations including financial and strategic planning and reporting, budgeting, KPI development, M & A analysis and tax reporting.  In addition, he will manage the firm’s national accounting team.  Winters will report to Don Manhard, Jr., president and chief executive officer.

Winters brings more than 28 years of experience to his new role.  Prior to joining Manhard Consulting, he served as vice president of finance, where he was responsible for financial operations.

Winters received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Washington University and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a certified public accountant.
