Marcus & Millichap brokered the sale of a 6,000-square foot retail property located in Evergreen Park, Illinois, according to Steven D. Weinstock, regional manager and first vice president of the firm’s Chicago Oak Brook office. The asset sold for $2,802,000.
Austin Weisenbeck, senior vice president, Sean R. Sharko, senior vice president, and Adrian Mendoza, first vice president and investment specialists in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Oak Brook office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a developer.
Located at 92nd Place and Western Avenue in Evergreen Park, the property is an outparcel to a major regional shopping center anchored by Meijer, Walmart, Menards, ROSS Dress for Less and Michael’s. The property, which has over 180 feet of frontage on Western Avenue, was sold at 97 percent of the list price to a Colorado-based private investor.
