Marcus & Millichap, a leading commercial real estate brokerage firm specializing in investment sales, financing, research and advisory services, announced the sale of Fogo de Chao, a 11,857-square-foot net-lease property located in Oak Brook, Illinois. The asset sold for $9.1 million.
Nicholas Kanich, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a Houston-based developer and property manager. Kanich also secured and represented the buyer, a Chicago-based developer and investor.
Fogo de Chao is located at 1204 W. 22nd Street in Oak Brook, Illinois. Constructed in 2021, the Brazilian steakhouse anchors the new Oak Brook Commons mixed-use community, located on the former McDonald’s world headquarters site. Directly across from the two million-square-foot Oakbrook Center shopping mall, Oak Brook Commons currently features a 17-story multifamily building, a medical office building and three freestanding restaurants, and future construction plans include a creative office, condos and a hotel.
