MB Real Estate has announced 80,000 square feet in new expansion and the completion of four phases of construction build-outs on behalf of the firm’s client, Coyote Logistics.
Coyote Logistics relocated from Lake Forest to 2545 W. Diversey in Chicago in 2011. Represented by MB Real Estate’s Senior Vice President David Burkards, the firm originally leased 65,000 square feet within the LEED Platinum mixed-use property developed by Baum Development. In recent months, due to the firm’s exponential growth and success, Coyote Logistics has expanded by another 80,000 square feet taking space on the second, fourth and fifth floors.
MB Real Estate’s Project and Development Services team, led by Senior Vice President David Graff has managed the construction for Coyote Logistics through four phases of build-outs within the space totaling 120,000 square feet to-date. Construction has included the renovation of the fourth floor space creating an open, loft-style work environment consistent with the green initiatives of the building. Reed Construction was the general contractor selected for the latest phase and Partners by Design provided the architectural services. The construction has run both on-schedule and within budget.
MB Real Estate expects the next phase of construction for Coyote to be complete by early August 2012. Reed Construction and Partners by Design will continue as part of the construction team. Burkards represented Coyote Logistics in each of its leasing expansions. David Baum of Baum Realty represented ownership. Ledcor completed the initial phases of construction.
