MB Real Estate’s Jay Beadle, senior vice president, and David Kimball, assistant vice president for the firm’s corporate services team represented Robert Morris University in the site selection for a new football stadium and field house located at 2123 S. Goebbert Road in Arlington Heights.
“The University engaged our team to assist them in finding the right location for athletic fields and the new football program,” Beadle said. “We analyzed various land sites and existing facilities for a location that provided the necessary infrastructure as well as offering tax exempt status. The football field and facilities, owned by Township High School District 214 in Arlington Heights, provided the most advantageous option.”
Robert Morris University plans to use $4.3 million toward renovations with another $750,000 dedicated from Saint Viator High School and District 214. Improvements to the facility will include ADA upgrades throughout, renovation of the field house, improvements for training facilities and classrooms, and a new turf field and stadium lighting. The university also obtained the naming rights for the facility – Morris Field and the Robert Morris University Athletic Performance Center.
