McCarthy Building Companies expands Omaha marketing and development team

McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has expanded its Omaha, Nebraska-based marketing and business development team with the appointment of Angela Ullman as business development manager.

In this position, Ullman will collaborate with McCarthy Business Development Director Amy Thompson in building, nurturing and strengthening relationships with current and potential clients throughout the region.

With the addition of Ullman to the Omaha McCarthy team, Thompson’s focus will shift toward continuing to support McCarthy’s growing involvement in the bio-sciences, including her role on the Board of Directors for Bio Nebraska. She’ll also pursue manufacturing, industrial and higher education opportunities. Ullman will focus on ensuring that McCarthy continues providing exceptional service to clients within the healthcare, K-12 and commercial markets. 

Ullman joins McCarthy with more than 20 years of marketing and business development experience. Her career background includes serving a variety of roles at the Omaha offices of HDR, Terracon and Black and Decker/DeWalt.

Ullman earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. A founding board member and former vice president of the Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) Omaha chapter, she’s also a former president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS Nebraska).

Her community leadership activities include a Board position with Keep Nebraska Beautiful and former Board membership on the Iowa Society of Solid Waste Operations.
