Brennan Investment Group announced that Scott McKibben has been promoted to chief investment officer. He will be oversee the company’s acquisition and development of industrial properties, including those originating from the company’s headquarters in Chicago as well as those originating from the company’s regional offices in California, Texas, and Florida. McKibben also will lead the opening of an East Coast office some time in 2016.
In 2010, McKibben co-founded Brennan Investment Group, along with the company’s other managing principals. Prior to Brennan, he was co-founder of Madison Partners Realty, which purchased, managed, and leased nearly 5 million square feet of office and industrial buildings primarily in the Chicago and Milwaukee markets. During his career, McKibben has completed nearly $3 billion in transactions.
McKibben earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance in 1991 from DePaul University, his Master of Science degree in real estate appraisal and investment analysis in 1994 from University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business and his Juris Doctor in 1994 from University of Wisconsin Law School. McKibben is licensed to practice law in Illinois.
