KPS Development Partners, a real estate development company based in Memphis, Tennessee, announced the completion of Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network‘s new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.
The new hospital is a four-story, 123,000-square-foot facility with 76 private patient rooms that replaces Good Shepherd’s existing 74 semi-private room facility in South Allentown, Pennsylvania. KPS Development Partners managed the entitlement process, project budget, consultant and contractor selection, and the construction management for the hospital.
The first floor of the hospital consists of a two-story lobby, bistro, radiology suite, pharmacy, lab, and the Empower+ suite, which leverages new technologies for the benefit of patients transitioning to their homes, including a 3D printing lab where implements can be custom designed and printed for specific patient needs.
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new inpatient rehabilitation hospital on July 25, welcomed its first patients on July 30 and opened the facility to the public on July 31.
The project team included KPS Development Partners as development managers and owner’s representative, PurePM as construction and project managers, FCA Architects as hospital architects, Pennoni & Associates as the civil engineers, IMC Construction as the general contractor, and Madison Art Consulting as the interior artwork consultant.
