PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC has announced that Michael Kaufmann has been hired as an assistant superintendent with a focus on PREMIER projects in their Northeast division.
Kaufmann has worked as a builder and developer in The Garden State since 1983. He has served as a facility and site manager for the past seven years, taking on an increased workload and managing successful projects for a variety of clients.
Currently, he is key in the construction of a new 263,415 sq ft industrial spec building underway in Union, NJ. In this role, he is helping turn an 18-acre site with more than 20 vacant structures into a modern industrial facility with class A amenities, and ensuring project specifications are being delivered to PREMIER standards.
“Mike’s comprehensive understanding of project, office and field management aspects of the construction process make him a valuable asset to the PREMIER team. In the past, Kaufmann managed a 250,000 sq ft Class A office building in Edison, NJ, and a $1.2 million industrial park in Hillsborough, NJ. His responsibilities have included maintaining active fire protection and electrical systems, scheduling repairs, managing ground maintenance such as landscaping and snow removal, and coordinating ongoing site environmental activities.
