Farbman Group, a full-service commercial real estate firm based in Southfield, Michigan, recently hired Misty Sirch as director of property management, and Gary Downey Jr. as portfolio property manager.
Sirch has more than 10 years of senior level management experience with a strong background in real estate and asset management. She has spent several years overseeing large power centers, retail strips, single tenant buildings and lifestyle centers.
Additionally, Sirch has worked on several development projects in the Midwest and Florida. She has performed both landlord and tenant representation and has worked closely with joint venture and third-party owners.
In her new role, Sirch will oversee Farbman’s property management division. Her duties include overseeing operations, budgets; managing tenant relations; handling vendor contracts and bidding; performing routine site inspections; and supervising the activities of the maintenance staff.
Downey has more than 15 years experience in commercial real estate including property and facility management services; financial reporting and budgeting; and tenant relations.
At Farbman, Downey will be responsible for working closely with owners and investors to insure all properties meet their highest potential. He will utilize his experience with vendors from all fields connected with maintaining commercial properties to increase offerings for tenants and guests to afford the best possible experience.
