Southfield, Michigan-based Farbman Group was named one of the 2020 Cool Places to Work in Michigan.

The announcement was made by Crain’s Detroit Business and Best Companies Group.

“We are thrilled to be awarded as a progressive workplace among so many other notable companies in Michigan,” said Andrew Farbman, chief executive officer of Farbman Group. “Our team strives to create a positive work culture that our employees can be proud of, and where every team member feels supported, empowered, and in a position to thrive in their careers for years to come.”

Crain’s Detroit Business 2020 Cool Places to Work in Michigan is a statewide survey and awards program that identifies, recognizes and honors the best places of employment in Michigan. These companies are known for benefiting the state’s economy, its workforce and surrounding businesses. The list consists of 100 companies in three size categories.

The process to determine winners includes evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices and demographics and an employee survey measuring employee experience. The combination of these scores determined the top companies and final rankings.

Farbman Group was a standout nominee thanks to innovative workplace practices like on-site chair massages, half-day Fridays during the summer and personal and professional growth through Farbman University.
