Michigan’s Farbman Group names SVP of property management

Soutthfield, Michigan-based Farbman Group has appointed Krista Capp as senior vice president of property management.

Capp has more than 25 years of experience in development, construction and historic rehab. In her new role as senior vice president of property management, Capp will oversee Farbman Group’s portfolio of properties under management across the Midwest.

Capp has experience managing a diverse portfolio of real estate assets, including medical, office, retail, industrial and multifamily in both urban and suburban areas. Most recently, she managed about 16 million square feet at a property in Detroit.

Prior to joining Farbman Group, Capp held positions at several companies. She was formerly the Chief Operating Officer for The Heat and Warmth Fund, a Michigan nonprofit focused on heating homes for those in need. She also held positions in property management previously with Beanstalk Real Estate Solutions, Bedrock Detroit and Hubbell Realty Company in Des Moines, Iowa.

Capp earned a B.A. in business administration from the University of Phoenix. She also holds a Certified Property Manager designation.
