Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based Mid-America Real Estate Corporation recently announced the promotions of two employees to Principals and two employees to Senior Vice Presidents.
Joe Girardi is a member of Mid-America’s Shopping Center Investment Sales team, focusing specifically on the disposition of retail properties. In his role, Girardi is responsible for the generation, underwriting, and execution of investment sale assignments. Girardi has been promoted to a Principal of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. He has been with Mid-America since 2003, and has been directly involved in the completion of over $2 billion of retail investment sale transactions. Girardi graduated from North Carolina State University where he earned a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and Young Real Estate Professionals of Chicago (YREP).
Mike Phillips is a member of Mid-America’s Tenant Representation team, representing numerous national retailers throughout the Midwest. Additionally, throughout his career Phillips has been involved with numerous development and redevelopment projects. Phillips has been promoted to a Principal of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. He has been with Mid-America since 1998. Phillips attended Bucknell University, where he earned a degree in Economics. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Brian Adams is a member of Mid-America’s Tenant Representation team, representing both retail landlords and tenants throughout the Chicagoland area and Illinois. Adams focuses extensively on restaurant tenant representation, and has been with Mid-America since 2005. Adams has been promoted to a Senior Vice President of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. Adams is a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington. He is also a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), a board member of the Chicago Next Generation Committee and a Co-Chair of the Restaurant Council for the Chain Links Organization.
Willie Hoag is a member of Mid-America’s Tenant Representation team, representing retail tenants throughout the suburban markets of Chicago in addition to the markets of downstate Illinois. Hoag has coordinated efforts for retailers new to the Chicago market, as well as existing retailers who seek to change strategy or re-brand themselves through their real estate efforts. Hoag has been promoted to a Senior Vice President of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. He has been with Mid-America since 2005. Hoag attended Boston College and graduated with a degree in English. Hoag is affiliated with the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CCIM) and a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
