Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales Group recently brokered the sale of Edens Plaza, a 343,000 square foot regional shopping center, located in one of the most sought-after locations in Greater Chicago. Edens Plaza is positioned at the intersection of Lake Avenue and Skokie Boulevard in Wilmette, Illinois, in the heart of Chicago’s North Shore. The property was sold by Newport Capital Partners to WS Development.
Edens Plaza is anchored by The Fresh Market, NorthShore Health, Walgreens, and Bed Bath & Beyond. The 160,000 SF former department store is in the process of being redeveloped into the first large scale brick-and-mortar Wayfair store.
