Midland Atlantic Properties has started development on Muncie Marketplace, a 78,000-square-foot retail center in Muncie, Ind., anchored by Dick’s Sporting Goods, Michaels and Five Below.
The project also includes two outlots.
Patrick Boyle of Midland Atlantic Properties is handling the leasing for the development. Boyle has pre-leased 95 percent of Muncie Marketplace prior to construction.
Muncie Marketplace will sit on about 9 acres on the northwest corner of McGalliard Road and Barr Street. It is adjacent to the 636,000-square-foot Muncie Mall and Target.
Construction began March 17, with planned tenant openings in the fall of 2014.
