Millennium Properties R/E, a premier boutique brokerage and property management company in Chicago, recently sold a 57,760 square foot value-add medical office building in the East/West Corridor.

Built in 1978, 246 E. Janata in Lombard features two elevators, a common area conference room, ample parking as well as an additional parking lot across Highland Lake Dr. Located on Highland Ave. across from Yorktown Center, this three-story office building is currently 48% leased, with many of the units in move-in ready condition.

“There was a substantial amount on interest in this property; we received multiple offers and were able to sell it for $100,000 over the asking price within 14 days with a 21 day closing,” said Daniel J. Hyman, president of Millennium Properties.

“This office building is in a prime location in the East/West Corridor with frontage on Highland, close to Butterfield Rd., I-88 and Yorktown Center,” said Brad Thompson, vice president of Millennium Properties. “The East/West Corridor remains a highly desirable location for investors looking for centrally located properties with the opportunity to add value.”
