Milwaukee’s Zilber makes key leadership change

Chad Navis

Milwaukee-based Zilber Ltd., a national real estate development and investment firm, has promoted Chad Navis to vice president. He will lead all commercial property activities of the company, which occur under the Zilber Property Group brand.

Navis will be assuming all responsibilities previously held by John Kersey, who is retiring after a 42-year career with the company.  Kersey will remain a key member of the company’s board of directors.

“Chad has been key to the growth and success of Zilber Property Group, since he joined us in 2006,” said Jim Borris, president and chief executive officer of Zilber Ltd.  “With his proven, exceptional leadership skills, he is well positioned to lead our business strategy and growth initiatives well into the future.”

Navis will join Bill Wigchers, Executive Vice President, and Sue Laabs, Vice President, CFO and Treasurer, as key executive officers of the company.  Together they are responsible for all operations, strategic planning and financial affairs of Zilber’s three major business brands: Zilber Property Group, industrial and office; Zilber Residential Group, multifamily apartments; and Homes by Towne / Towne Island Homes, single family and condominium homes.
