Minneapolis-based workplace solutions provider iSpace Environments has named Dustin Benz as president.
Benz was formerly iSpace’s chief operations officer. Benz will take over the president role from the company’s founder, Joel Peterson, who will retain his active role as chief executive officer.
Benz’s promotion at iSpace takes effect at a pivotal time as he leads the company of more than 80 employees through the design, planning and build-out of its new headquarters and showroom at 3701 Wayzata Blvd. in Minneapolis.
The new fourth-floor space overlooks Cedar Lake and downtown Minneapolis and will be a working showcase of the architectural, furniture and technology products that iSpace specifies for customers worldwide. iSpace expects to begin to transition much of its sales, design, project management, engineering and leadership team from its current Eden Prairie, Minnesota, office into the new space at the end of October. Its current Eden Prairie location is the site of iSpace’s warehouse and will remain in operation.
Before joining iSpace as COO in 2019, Benz spent nearly eight years at AllOver Media, in Plymouth, Minnesota, most recently as vice president of operations.
