Tom Hotovec has been named chief executive officer of Minneapolis-based real estate and investment company Meritex. He will begin his new role Jan. 1, 2023.
Hotovec served as chief financial officer at Meritex from 2004 until 2021, when he was named president of the company. He will take over for Paddy McNeely, who take on the sole position of chairman of the board.
Hotovec has more than 25 years experience leading teams. Before working at Meritex, he was the vice president of accounting and finance for General Growth Properties. He has been active in the NAIOP for more than 15 years.
