Minneapolis-based real estate development company Schafer Richardson recently donated $5,000 to support Tree Trust’s Trees for NoMi program.
The contribution will provide free trees to North Minneapolis residents on Oct. 6, to help beautify the area and increase the tree canopy. This is important, as it is estimated that Minneapolis and St. Paul will lose more than 2 million trees in the next five to 10 years because of the emerald ash borer.
