Minnesota’s Kraus-Anderson names new EVP

Bloomington, Minnesota-based Kraus-Anderson Realty Company has named Mike Hille as executive vice president. He previously served as senior vice president of Kraus-Anderson Development Company.

Hille will continue to provide high level oversight of KA Development as well as the daily activities of KA Realty, managing all property management and leasing operations, as well as the company’s development strategy and investment opportunities.

Hille’s leadership at Kraus-Anderson has been integral to the success of the KA Block mixed-use development now under construction in Minneapolis. Master-planned and one of the most logistically complex full-block, mixed-use developments in downtown Minneapolis in recent years, the KA Block comprises a new five-story 100,000-square-foot KA headquarters; 17-story H.Q. apartments; 168-unit Elliot Park Hotel; and 11,000 square-foot Finnegans House brewery, taproom and social entrepreneurial venture.

Hille joined KA in 2016 following more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in real estate development, including 17 years at Target Corporation, where he served as senior regional real estate manager, developing and executing real estate strategies and market entries for Target throughout Canada and the U.S., and driving value from the company’s existing portfolios.
