MK Asset closes big deal in Louisville

MK Asset Brokerage, a Chicago-based commercial real estate investment, brokerage and advisory firm, has completed transactions totaling about 500,000 square feet in Riverside, California, and Louisville, Kentucky. The value of the transactions exceeded $25 million in aggregate lease expense.

In the first transaction, MK Asset Brokerage represented McLane Global Logistics in its lease of 225,000 square feet at 14855 Innovation Drive in Riverside, California, within the Majestic Business Center.

In the second transaction, MK Asset Brokerage represented Tennant Company in the extension of an existing, 280,00-square-foot lease at 5607 National Turnpike within the Air Space Business Park in Louisville.

Tennant, a publicly traded company, is a manufacturer of floor-cleaning machines and technologies. The facility houses Tennant’s brush manufacturing and distribution facility.

Hugh Williams, managing prinicpal with MK Asset Brokerage, and Matt Knafel, associate broker, represented Tennant in the transaction.

Kevin Grove of CBRE represented building ownership, Principal Realty.
