More than 150 of the top names in Louisville’s commercial real estate industry attended the second annual Louisville Commercial Real Estate Summit Aug 10 at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel.
The crowd heard plenty of good news about the state of the multifamily, retail, office and industrial markets in the city. The short version? Louisville’s CRE market remains one of the strongest throughout the Midwest.
The Developers Transforming Real Estate panel focused on the new construction taking place across Louisville. Speaking on this panel were Chris Dischinger, co-principal of LDG Development; Mariah Gratz, Weyland Ventures; Larry Gough, co-founder, IPA Investment Property Advisors; Angela Leet, moderator and District 7 councilwoman; and Mark Susemichel, senior vice president of development with Browning.Speaking on the Importance of ROI Asset Classes panel were Matt Hartlage, vice president with JLL; Clay Hunt, senior associate with CBRE; Cyndi Whitmer, moderator, assistant vice president with Central Bank & Trust; and Seth Edens, vice president of healthcare with TRIO Commercial Property Group.The multifamily market remains hot in Louisville. Addressing this on the summit's multifamily panel were Craig Collins, moderator and senior director with Cushman & Wakefield/Commercial Kentucky; Greg Solomos, senior vice president with Bellwether Enterprise; Colin Underhill, principal with Underhill Associates; Justin Brown, principal with Marian Group; Steve LaMotte Jr., senior vice president with CBRE; and Craig Kegg, senior vice president with Grandbridge Real Estate Capital.
