Morgan / Harbour announced that the firm has completed a 6,000 square foot office renovation and addition for The Solid Waste Agency of Northern Cook County (SWANCC) within the Villge of Wheeling Public Works building at 77 W. Hintz Road in Wheeling, Illinois.
Founded in 1988, SWANCC is a nonprofit intergovernmental agency that provides solid waste management services, programs and resource materials to its 23 member communities. Morgan / Harbour was hired to complete the build-out to the second floor of The Village of Wheeling Public Works building, which is occupied by SWANCC. The construction featured a 6,000 square foot build-out and the addition of an elevator for the existing elevator pit. The new space was finished with elements cohesive with the remainder of the building.
Morgan / Harbour’s construction team included Project Manager Erick Hodorowicz and Superintendent Brian Paciorkowski. Harris Architects provided the architectural services. Morgan / Harbour originally built the 121,000 square foot, two-story Village of Wheeling Public Works building in 2008.
