The Clear Blue Company, a developer and owner-operator of workforce and affordable multifamily housing properties, has added Ashley Stockton-Massie as Director of Acquisition Rehabilitation in its Nashville office.

As Director of Acquisition Rehabilitation, Stockton-Massie’s primary focus will be sourcing, managing and securing capital opportunities for the firm’s workforce and affordable housing acquisition and rehabilitation operations, a vital component of The Clear Blue Company’s overarching mission to solve the affordable housing crisis.

Additionally, Stockton-Massie will support the firm’s business development initiatives to ensure a sustainable growth trajectory across markets that simultaneously meets all stakeholder needs and aids in the creation of community engagement programming to further its resident-centric approach.

Prior to The Clear Blue Company, Stockton-Massie served as the Director of Real Estate Development for Highmark Holdings, LLC, where she managed the full acquisition and development lifecycle for the firm while simultaneously overseeing their multifamily portfolio’s asset management teams.

Ahead of Highmark, Stockton-Massie held several key positions at CoStar Group, having most recently led the Southeast Institutional Sales Comparable Team in the creation of sales comparable and market reports in key regions that positively impacted $100 million in annual revenue. Stockton-Massie’s extensive knowledge of the real estate and economic landscapes, paired with her experience leading full-funnel acquisition and development lifecycles, will bolster The Clear Blue Company’s approach to strategic and disciplined investment and preservation business model.

In addition, she is a Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Housing & Rehabilitation Association (NH&RA) Tennessee Developers Council, as well as an Alumni Council Member for Auburn University’s Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) program.
