NelsonHill has completed the sale of a 5,300-square-foot warehouse building at 318 N. Laflin in Chicago to Mozer & Associates. Value of the sale was $1.17 million.
Mozer & Associates has purchased the building for conversion to a high-end showroom and office space for the firm. The company chose the building due to the potential of the barrel truss, clear span construction, original timber and masonry construction.
Owner of the company Jordan Mozer has achieved international recognition for his ability to transform spaces and create concepts like the Cheesecake Factory in Chicago, Churrascos in Texas and Stacked in Los Angeles, as well as for his work in Switzerland, Germany and Spain.
Mark Nelson and Michael Nelson, principals at NelsonHill, represented the seller, Music Direct, in the transaction. Last year NelsonHill represented Music Direct in its relocation to a larger facility in Ravenswood. The buyer was represented by Ann Anovitz of Anovitz and Associates.
