A new Cracker Barrel restaurant is coming to Belton, Missouri. The company began construction at the new restaurant, at 6751 E. 163rd St. in Belton, on March 19.
The restaurant of more than 10,000 square feet is scheduled to open in the fall of 2018. Cracker Barrel plans to hire more than 175 full- and part-time employees at the restaurant.
This will mark the 18th Cracker Barrel location in Missouri. The first Cracker Barrel in Missouri opened in the summer of 1991 in St. Louis, 6233 Heimos Industrial Park Drive. That opening came about 22 years after the company’s founding in 1969.
Prior to this new Belton location, the last Cracker Barrel that had opened in Missouri was in November of 2005, when the company opened its Sullivan, Missouri, store.
