Newcastle Limited is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Tumiel as Senior Vice President, Human Resources. In his new role, Tumiel will lead Newcastle’s human resource function, responsible for developing and driving a high-performing culture and talent strategies. He will play a lead role in attracting, engaging and developing top industry professionals, supporting the firm’s growth strategies.
Tumiel was most recently Vice President, Talent with Roti Modern Mediterranean, a fast-casual restaurant with over 40 locations in 5 markets and 700 employees. Prior to his role at Roti, he held senior human resource positions with Endurance International Group, Orbitz Worldwide and Exelon Corporation.
Tumiel earned a BS in Economics and Human Resource Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and has been an active volunteer with numerous organizations, including the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and the Human Rights Campaign focused on expanding rights for the LGBTQ+ community.
