Newmark arranged a 207,740-square-foot office and industrial lease for Homage, a vintage sports apparel brand, at 885 Stelzer Road, a speculative industrial property near Columbus, Ohio’s, John Glenn International Airport.
Newmark Vice Chairman Terry Coyne and Managing Director Derek Lichtfuss represented the landlord, Weston, Inc., in lease negotiations.
885 Stelzer Road was developed in 2024 to revitalize a former vacant wooded lot. The developers negotiated easements to provide sewer access and paid to offset wetlands impacts in order to make the site shovel-ready.
Homage plans to take occupancy in the building before the end of 2025. The company will use the property as its corporate headquarters, as well as for apparel production and distribution. Weston Devore of CBRE represented the tenant in lease negotiations.
Homage’s brand has been gaining acclaim over the past several years. Founded by Ryan Vesler, the Columbus-based company today counts investors including NFL star Jason Kelce, NBA star Kevin Durant, actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and Haslam Sports Group, which owns the Cleveland Browns, Columbus Crew and is shared controlling owners of the Milwaukee Bucks. The company is official licensees of the NFL, NBA, WNBA, MLB, and numerous other major pop culture entities.
Located just across the street from the John Glenn airport, 885 Stelzer presents a rare opportunity for users to access real estate that isn’t directly owned by the Columbus Airport Authority. The property, the only new warehouse in its area, has 32-foot clear ceiling heights, 17 docks, two drive-in doors and offers easy access to both Interstate 670 and Highway 16 to the south.
