The Newmark Grubb Zimmer team of Michael VanBuskirk and Chris Robertson represented Christie Development Associates, LLC in the acquisition of the Kohl’s department store at 12381 W. 95th St. in Lenexa, Kansas.
The buyer was also represented by Ferd Niemann Brokerage and Consulting, LLC.
The building was originally built in 1994 and features a 105,000-square-foot-plus box currently 100-percent occupied by Kohl’s with convenient access to Interstate-35 in one of the busiest retail corridors in the Kansas City metro area. The seller was TIC Lenexa Limited Partnership, which was represented by Kevin Curtin of Kessinger/Hunter & Company, LC and Jeff Dozier of Point Commercial.
