Nick Kanich joins JLL as senior vice president. He previously spent just over five years at Cushman & Wakefield, most recently as a director of capital markets and a member of the firm’s national net lease group.
Kanich brings with him extensive experience in the retail investment sales discipline, with previous involvement in shopping centers, high street and triple net sales. His most recent focus was on the sale of passive cash flow net-lease assets, and he has worked on a number of national credit tenants, including Bank of America, Wendy’s and Family Dollar. Kanich started his career in 2005 at Marcus & Millichap, where he focused on infill Chicago mixed-use and Midwest retail properties.
Kanich graduated from Indiana University’s (IU) Kelley School of Business with a degree in Finance and an emphasis in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. He currently sits on IU’s Real Estate Center Advisory Board and runs the University’s Chicago Alumni in Real Estate Group.
