NKFE completes three sales transactions valued at more than $5M

Newmark Knight Frank Epic has completed three building sales/acquisitions totaling almost 112,000 square feet and valued in excess of $5 million. The transactions took place in Morton Grove, South Holland and River Grove, Ill.

  • Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented Lin-Mar Motors in the acquisition of 5940 Oakton St. in Morton Grove. Lin-Mar Motors is a comprehensive automotive repair and towing company that is based in Morton Grove. The building on Oakton Street totals 66,786 square feet and sits on 2.46 acres. Joel Friedland, principal, and Denise Chaimovitz, senior vice president, both of Newmark Knight Frank Epic, represented Lin-Mar Motors in the acquisition. Chris Volkert of Colliers International represented the seller, North Star Trust Co.
  • Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented both the buyer and the seller in the acquisition/disposition of 4246 166th Street in Oak Forest, Ill. Kapco Industries, currently located in South Holland, Ill. acquired the 34,500-square-foot building from Gilkes Real Estate Company. Jeff Locascio, principal, and Terri Alexander, both with Newmark Knight Frank Epic, represented Kapco and Gilkes in the transaction.
  • Newmark Knight Frank Epic represented buyer and seller in a single-user facility acquisition at 2655 Erie in River Grove, Ill. CLM Midwest acquired the 10,700-square-foot building using SBA financing. CLM Midwest has trained technicians prepared to complete building, parking lot maintenance; landscaping, project management, and store build out. Ed Brandt, principal, Newmark Knight Frank Epic, represented the buyer and the seller, Kohl Vick Machine Works, in the transaction.
