Chicago-based Novak Construction Company—which specialized in ground-up, interior build-out and renovation projects—has created a new vertical, Novak Interiors. The new venture will focus on corporate interiors and tenant improvement clients specifically.
As part of the expansion, Novak welcomes Chris Novak to Novak Interiors as executive vice president. Novak has a proven track record, not only as a team leader, but as an experienced project manager who has managed several million square feet of work. He brings over 30 years of experience to his new role leading the Novak Interiors division.
Jason Steffen and Josh Mertes have also joined the Novak Interiors division as project executives. They are no strangers to having run projects, and their experience leverages them to be able to move a project along its milestones. Steffen and Mertes bring a total of more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, and they are both are LEED accredited professionals.
“We are proud to have Chris and his team focusing specifically on interiors and tenant improvements. It is something we do well, and I look forward to the growth of that division within our firm,” said John Novak, founder and president of Novak Construction.
