Terrace Oaks, a 55,829-square-foot office property in Oakbrook Terrace, recently sold for more than $5 million to an undisclosed developer.
The building, located at 17W645 Butterfield Rd., includes a marble lobby with a three-story glass atrium and ample parking. The building has a newer conference room with significant upgrades to common spaces. Other features include an energy-efficient heating system and air conditioning as well as electronically controlled security and fire protection systems.
John Abuja, an investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap‘s Chicago Downtown office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a limited liability company. The buyer, a developer, was also secured and represented by Abuja.
