The owners of Metropolitan Square, the tallest officer tower in downtown St. Louis, in early December completed a loan restructuring that puts the building on sound financial footing for the future.
Mark Karasick, principal with the building’s ownership group of Metropolitan Square, LLC, said that the new agreement includes a reduced interest rate and an extension of the term.
Built in 1989, the 42-story building is about 82 percent leased. Tenants include the global headquarters of architecture firm HOK and the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association.
Lynn Schenck and Matt Aljets of Jones Lang LaSalle serve as the building’s exclusive leasing agents. Larry Hunkins of Jones Lang LaSalle is the building’s general manager.
