Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide has completed a 15-year lease on a 365,359-square-foot industrial build-to-suit facility on behalf of Freeman in McCook.

Situated on approximately 25 acres at 8201 W. 47th St. in McCook, Freeman plans to relocate its operations from Chicago to the new 30-foot clear building featuring 50 docks along with ample car and truck parking. The company chose the land site due to the close proximity to its existing audio-visual location already in McCook. The Dallas-based company was started in 1927 and is a global partner for integrated marketing solutions for live engagements.

Ground will be broken soon and completion is scheduled for May 2014.  Cornerstone Architects Ltd. will provide architectural services and Premier Design + Build Group LLC will construct the facility. Bridge Development Partners in a partnership with Akard Street Partners (an investment partnership operated by Hunt Realty Investments Inc.).is the building owner and developer.

Jerry Sullivan and Ed Wabick, principals of Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide, represented Freeman locally, along with Tom Sutherland of CASE Commercial Real Estate Partners in Dallas, in the 15-year lease and build-to-suit transaction. Vern Schultz and Tom Condon of Colliers International represented the building owner.
