Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide has completed two lease transactions on behalf of Shorr Packaging Corp. in Aurora.
Shorr Packaging Corp. has leased 36,127 square feet of new space to accommodate the company’s expansion located at 2560 White Oak Circle in Aurora. The firm also renewed and expanded their lease for 34,000 square feet of space within a 188,700-square-foot industrial building at 880 N. Enterprise St. in Aurora.
An employee-owned firm led by the Shorr family’s third generation, the company is one of the largest independent packaging distribution firms in the nation. The company chose the new facility due to the high-cube warehouse and distribution space. Shorr chose both locations primarily due to the proximity to the company’s headquarters location already within Aurora.
Elise Couston, SIOR, executive vice president of Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide worked on behalf of Shorr Packaging Corp. in both transactions. Chuck Canale of Colliers International worked on behalf of the building owner, Panattoni, at 2560 White Oak Circle and the landlord of 880 N. Enterprise St., Duke Realty, was not represented.
