A joint venture between PCCP and Hutensky Capital Partners acquired Streets of Woodfield, a 690,000-square-foot retail center at 601 N. Martingale Road in Schaumburg, Illinois.
Originally built in 1991, the property is currently 94% leased to 22 tenants, including Whole Foods, Dick’s Sporting Goods House of Sport, AMC, Restoration Hardware Outlet, Legoland, and Dave & Buster’s. The surrounding area is affluent and densely populated with 263,000 residents and a median income of $91,000 within a 5-mile radius.
The project is located along I-290, which sees approximately 150,000 vehicles per day and provides direct access to O’Hare International Airport, nearby residential neighborhoods, and the Chicago CBD. Schaumburg itself is one of Chicago’s main suburban retail nodes, with the area benefiting from regional connectivity and strong demographics. The property is adjacent to Woodfield Mall, the largest shopping center in Illinois, which spans approximately 2.2 million square feet and attracts more than 15 million visitors annually.
