The Chicago- based, privately held, well-capitalized design-build firm with a national reach, Peak Construction Corporation, has been awarded Clarion Partners’ Heartland Building II.
The 750,000 square foot spec industrial distribution facility is located in Shorewood, Illinois and strategically located at the intersection of I80 and I55. The 32′ clear height, cross dock facility features ESFR sprinklers, T5 fluorescent lighting, 171 potential dock positions and four drive-in doors. The project has a fast-tracked schedule with an immediate start and 2014 year-end completion date.
