Peak Construction Corp. has been selected as design builder to oversee New World Van Lines‘ $2 million warehouse storage expansion at their global headquarters in Chicago.
The construction schedule will begin in June commencing with demolition of an existing building. The warehouse addition, totaling 35,000 square feet, includes eight new docks with air bag levelers and two drive-in doors with a 28-foot clear height.
The exterior façade consists of precast panels with a brick veneer. Peak is teamed with Harris Architects Inc. and Webster, McGrath & Ahlberg Ltd., civil engineers.
